David Kraft
David Kraft (PhD) is a specialist psychotherapist in central London. A fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, he has published articles in both national and international journals. He has written several papers on many topics, including: covert sensitisation, driving phobia, anxiety, sleep disorders, hyperhidrosis, psychosexual disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, eating disorders (including bulimia nervosa and anorexia nervosa), social phobia, agoraphobia and panic disorder. David Kraft uses a multimodal approach to psychotherapy: he combines elements of Rogerian psychotherapy with psychodynamic psychotherapy, and, on occasions, combines this with hypnosis.
David has a diploma in clinical psychology (Dip.Cl.Psy). He also trained at the BST Foundation in London where he gained both the diploma in Clinical Hypnosis (DCHyp) and the Advanced Certificate in Clinical and Strategic Hypnosis (A.Cert.CSHyp). David is a member of the Hypnosis & Psychosomatic Medicine Section of the Royal Society of Medicine. He is also a member of the British Society of Clinical and Academic Hypnosis (BSCAH). In addition, he is on the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR Reg.), holding the General Qualification in Hypnotherapy Practice (GQHP).
David Kraft has had a great deal of success with his clients over the years: his kind and non- judgemental approach has made it possible for many to achieve their goals in therapy in a shorter timeframe.
